As a seasoned organization development consultant and strategic human capital professional in the D.C. area, Barry specializes in leadership development and diversity and inclusion management. As a talented facilitator, trainer, and coach, Barry has achieved outstanding results facilitating groups, large and small, and many of his coaching clients have experienced consistent, long-lasting success and recognition for their performance. He has over 20 years of experience in a range of industries including Fortune 500 companies, government, newspapers, financial services, insurance and labor unions. Barry previously served as an organization development and human resources consultant for The Washington Post. Barry earned a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University National Training Laboratory Institute, and holds certifications from the Center for Creative Leadership and Georgetown University’s Executive Leadership Coaching Program. He is certified in numerous tools and programs including MBTI, DiSC, TalentSmart’s Emotional Intelligence 2.0, and Elsie Y. Cross and Associates’ Dialog with Differences: A Model of Diversity Management.
