Based in Santa Barbara, Joy is a sought-after facilitator, speaker and master certified coach who changes people’s lives through meaningful conversation and transformational facilitation. She is a renowned speaker who has presented to leaders around the globe, addressing groups from 10 to over 1,000, helping clients build their presence, confidence, and skills. As a trusted partner with clients around the globe, Joy leverages her background as a designer and organizational development consultant to co-create and deliver customized programs used by high tech companies, Fortune 500 corporations, and government agencies.
As a coach, Joy works with C-suite executives and leaders to support the development and productivity of their organizations and teams; she is passionate about supporting leaders to live their lives from the ‘inside out’ with awareness, intention and clarity. She brings to her work over 20 years leading teams and inspiring growth and loyalty in those she leads. Joy serves as an integral member of the Hudson Leadership Team, Hudson Institute of Coaching, where she trains and supervises coaches-in-training. She holds an M.S. in Counseling Education from University of Buffalo and has completed doctoral studies in Behavioral Science at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is certified in dozens of tools including MBTI, HBDI, and the Bar-On EQi. She is a graduate of the Art and Practice of Leadership Development at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Organization Development program at Georgetown University. She is the author of multiple books including Personal Power, and A Practical Guide to Working with Diversity.
